Management tab

Use the Management tab as your personal records hub — attendance, time tracking, availability, documents, applications, course grades, invoices, tuition, health insurance, and study contracts when your institution offers them.

The Management tab is your personal records hub on Home: attendance, grades, documents, and — when your university uses them — tuition, invoices, insurance, or study contracts.

Where My Courses and the Curriculum tab show what you are taking, Management shows what your institution has recorded about you.

Why it matters

Students need reliable self-service access to official records without emailing every office separately. The Management tab centralizes:

  • Evidence of attendance and time commitments.
  • Published grades across courses.
  • Documents such as enrolment certificates or study agreements.
  • Programme applications, tuition, invoices, insurance, and contracts when your institution offers those services.

Checking Management after a grade publication, an attendance dispute, or a tuition reminder is usually faster than reconstructing the same facts from individual course tabs.

How it fits

Related area What you typically continue there
Calendar and attendance Live sessions, check-in, and course-level attendance tools
View and publish course grades How teachers publish grades that later appear here
Submit a hand-in Course work submissions (grades surface in Course Grades after publishing)
Time tracking Institution-side time tracking that may feed your Time Tracking section
Smart documents Document workflows institutions use to share files with you
Health insurance GKV / Krankenkasse tracking when configured
Apply Application programmes whose submissions can appear under My Applications

Select the Management tab.

Sections in the Management tab

The sections that appear depend on your role and what your institution has turned on. You may see some or all of the following:

Attendance

Shows your attendance records across all courses, including appointments you attended, missed, or were excused from.

Use this when you need a cross-course history rather than opening each course calendar separately. For session-level actions during a course, see Calendar and attendance.

Time Tracking

If your institution uses time tracking, this section shows your logged hours and attendance-based time records.

Availability

Shows your personal availability schedule and any pending availability requests from coordinators or managers. This section appears when your role includes staff planning tools.

Documents

A list of documents your institution has shared with you or that you have uploaded, such as enrolment certificates or study agreements.

My Applications

A summary of application submissions you have made through Fuxam’s application management system (for example, applications to study programmes).

Course Grades

An overview of grades you have received across all your courses. Grades only appear here after a teacher publishes them.

Until publication, you typically will not see a result here even if work was submitted. See View and publish course grades for the publishing side of that process.

Invoices

If your institution uses tuition or payment management, this section lists invoices generated from access pass purchases or other payments.

Tuition Fees

If your institution uses tuition management, this section shows your tuition plan, payment amount per instalment, and any outstanding balances.

Outstanding Balance

If your institution uses the finance receivables integration, this section shows any open balance owed.

Health Insurance

If your institution has configured health insurance (Krankenkasse) tracking and you hold the required role, this section shows your health insurance records.

In Germany, GKV (gesetzliche Krankenversicherung) is statutory health insurance. Institutions that track Krankenkasse data use this section so students can review what the university holds — see also Health insurance for the administrative setup.

Study Contracts

If your institution uses study contracts, this section lists your active study contracts and their status.

Best practices

  • Check after publication events. After exams or grade releases, open Course Grades rather than refreshing a single hand-in block alone.
  • Use Attendance for audits. Before disputing a missed session, confirm the cross-course record here and the course appointment context.
  • Keep Documents downloadable when needed. Certificates and agreements often live here for re-download during enrollment or visa processes.
  • Separate applications from coursework. My Applications is programme admissions; coursework lives in courses and Course Grades.

Common pitfalls

Situation Guidance
Expected section missing Your role or your institution’s setup may hide that section — ask your administrator
Grade not listed Teacher may not have published yet — grades appear only after publishing
Confusing My Applications with hand-ins Applications are programme submissions; course work is under courses and Course Grades
Outstanding Balance vs Tuition Fees Different finance integrations may power these sections; use the section your institution directed you to

FAQ

Why is the Management tab empty or almost empty?

Your institution may show only a few sections for your role, or you may not yet have attendance, grades, or documents on file. What you see depends on your role and your university’s configuration.

Where do grades appear if not here?

Course-level grade views may also exist inside a course when available. Across all courses, published grades appear in Course Grades on this tab. Unpublished grades are not shown to students.

Is this the same as Curriculum progress?

No. Curriculum tracks module and ECTS requirements. Management stores operational and personal records (attendance, grades, documents, finance). Both matter for a complete student picture.
