Enroll in a bundle
Enroll users, groups, or cohorts in a course bundle so they gain access to all linked courses — and manage Active or Inactive membership.
Enrolling a user in a bundle adds them as a bundle member and grants access to every course linked to that bundle. One enrollment action replaces separate bulk-enroll or manage enrollments steps for each course in the package — the pattern continuing education and certificate programmes rely on.
Administrators manage enrollment in OrgHub. Students do not self-enroll into bundles through the booking flow; they view assigned bundles on Home → Bundles and open member courses from there.
Why it matters
Programme cohorts move together. Enrolling thirty people into a five-course certificate through per-course bulk actions means 150 enrollment operations and inconsistent results when someone is missed on course three. Bundle enrollment treats the programme as a unit: add the cohort once, and every linked course receives the participant.
Membership status (Active / Inactive) gives administrators a controlled way to grant or pause access without deleting records — useful for leaves, payment holds, or staged rollouts.

After bundle enrollment, each course Users tab shows Via Bundle in the Added From column — the same source tracking described in Assign to users.

How to enroll users as an administrator
Go to OrgHub → Management → Course Management → Bundles and open the bundle.
Open the Users page.
Click Add Users and select individual users, groups, or cohorts.
Confirm enrollment. New members are enrolled in the bundle and receive access to all linked courses.
A success message reports how many users were added. Users already enrolled are skipped or reported separately.
Membership status
After enrollment, each member has a status you can change from the users table:

How to remove users from a bundle
On the bundle Users page, select the member(s) to remove.
Confirm removal. Users are unenrolled from the bundle and lose access to courses they only had via the bundle.
Users who also have direct enrollment, cohort assignment, or another source of course access retain that access.
How enrollment appears in courses
In each linked course’s Users tab, the Added From column shows Via Bundle (with the bundle name) for participants enrolled through the bundle.
Those users can open each course’s Learning Journey tab like any other enrolled participant — provided Learning Journey is enabled for your institution and for that course. See Assign to users and Follow the learning journey.
Each member course remains a distinct LMS course. Bundle enrollment does not merge journeys; it coordinates access across them.
Student view
Enrolled students find their bundles under Home → Bundles. Each entry shows:
- Bundle name and date range
- Courses in the bundle and responsible contacts
- Links to open individual courses
If no bundles are assigned, the empty state reads No bundles yet.
Best practices
- Confirm the bundle course list before enrolling. Edit a bundle to verify every required course is linked — especially if you chose Add to bundle only when adding courses mid-programme.
- Use groups or cohorts for intact programme intakes. Enrolling the cohort entity reduces manual selection errors compared to picking individuals.
- Use Inactive instead of delete when access is temporary. Preserves the membership record for audit and easy reinstatement.
- Spot-check one member course after bulk enrollment. Open the Users tab and confirm Via Bundle appears for a sample participant.
Common pitfalls
- Insufficient access on a course in the bundle. You need permission to add and manage participants on each linked course; enrollment may fail or be incomplete without it.
- Assuming inactive users disappear from the bundle. Inactive pauses access but keeps the membership row — distinct from removing the user entirely.
- Confusing bundle removal with course booking unbook. Students can unbook only courses they booked themselves; bundle-assigned programmes require administrator changes.
- Overlapping enrollment sources. A user may show multiple access paths; removing bundle membership does not remove cohort or direct enrollment.
FAQ
Are users enrolled in every course automatically?
Yes — when you add users with Active membership, they receive access to all courses currently linked to the bundle. If courses are added later, choose whether existing members also gain those enrollments when editing the bundle.
What happens to users already in the bundle?
They are skipped or reported separately in the success message when you attempt to enroll them again.
Can I enroll a cohort?
Yes. Add Users accepts individual users, groups, or cohorts — the same selection pattern used elsewhere in course management.
How is this different from bulk-enroll in a course?
Bulk-enroll adds users to one course. Bundle enrollment adds them to every course in the bundle in one step.
