Add your ID to Apple Wallet
Add your Fuxam student ID card to Apple Wallet on iPhone for quick access outside the app, including requirements and troubleshooting.
Add to Apple Wallet lets you store your Fuxam Student ID Card in Apple’s Wallet app on iPhone. Instead of opening Fuxam Mobile at a gate or desk, you can present your digital pass from Wallet — the same credential shown at the top of the Account tab, formatted for Apple’s pass system. Availability depends on your institution enabling digital student IDs and on your card being valid at the time you add it.
Why it matters
Physical student cards are easy to forget, damage, or leave at home. A Wallet pass lives on the device you already carry and can be opened with a double-click of the side button on supported iPhones — faster than launching an app when a queue is forming. For universities rolling out electronic student identification, Wallet integration bridges campus access workflows and the identity data already maintained in Fuxam.
How it fits
Your Student ID Card on the Account tab is the source for the Wallet pass. Profile details — name and photo — come from Your student ID and profile. You must be signed in through Sign in before adding a pass; signing out ends your sign-in on the device — see Sign out.

How to add your ID to Apple Wallet
If your institution supports digital student IDs, you can add your card to Apple Wallet on iPhone for quick access outside the app.
Open the Account tab.
On your Student ID Card, tap Add to Apple Wallet.
Confirm on the prompt that explains your ID will be added to the Wallet app.
Tap Add to complete the process. Your student ID appears in the Wallet app on your iPhone.
Requirements and limits
- Your student ID must be valid. Expired cards cannot be added to Apple Wallet.
- You must be signed in to Fuxam. If sign-in fails, sign in again and retry.
- Wallet features require a compatible iPhone with Apple Wallet installed.
Best practices
- Confirm your name and photo under Personal Information before adding to Wallet — see Your student ID and profile. Updating the photo afterward may require re-adding or refreshing the pass depending on institution configuration.
- Add the pass while on a stable network immediately after a successful Sign in.
- Keep your iPhone’s Wallet app available and know how to open passes quickly if your campus expects Wallet-based verification.
- Note your App Version at the bottom of the Account tab when reporting Wallet errors to support.
Troubleshooting
If adding the pass fails, try again later or contact your institution’s support. The app shows a specific error message when something goes wrong.
| Symptom | Likely cause | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Add to Apple Wallet not visible | Institution may not support digital IDs, or card is expired | Confirm validity on the Student ID Card; contact institutional support |
| Authentication error | Session expired | Sign in again — Sign in — then retry from the Account tab |
| Pass add fails with an error message | Temporary service issue or device restriction | Read the in-app error, retry later, or contact support with the message text |
| Pass shows outdated details | Profile changed after adding | Update Personal Information and check whether the Wallet pass refreshed |

FAQ
Can I add my ID to Google Wallet on Android?
Not in this version of the app. Add to Apple Wallet is available on iOS only. Google Wallet for Android is not yet available.
What happens to my Wallet pass when I sign out?
Signing out ends your sign-in on this device. Wallet behavior may depend on institution settings; if the pass stops working, sign in again and re-add if needed — see Sign out.
Why does my expired card not add to Wallet?
Expired cards cannot be added to Apple Wallet. Your institution must renew or update your enrollment status before Wallet enrollment succeeds.
